Promoting young talent
09.02.2011 KUKA Systems supports students winning the 5-Euro Business Competition
Winners of the 5-Euro Business Competition with Sabine Neubauer
Augsburg, February 2011 (dg) - KUKA Systems stands for automated production solutions of the very highest standard - and it backs winners when it comes to promoting young talent as well:
During the project phase of the 5-Euro Business Competition, Sabine Neubauer, Marketing Officer at KUKA Systems, assisted a five-strong group of students of the University of Augsburg and Augsburg University of Applied Sciences. With start-up capital of just five euros, the young people set up their own company - called "Stilsicher Essen", or "stylish eating" - and created a varied cookbook for students. And, of course, there is a website to go with it.
On 2 February the team of students won first prize in the competition for idea, concept and realisation. It was the tenth time that Bildungswerk der Bayerischen Wirtschaft, the training institution for Bavarian business, had held the competition.
"Today"s students are tomorrow"s managers", said Sabine Neubauer of KUKA Systems. "The winners of this year"s competition demonstrated enormous commitment, creativity and flare in turning their idea into reality and focussing optimally on their target group. If it is to be innovative, every company needs a pioneering spirit, and that is precisely why we at KUKA Systems are happy to encourage up-and-coming talent, as it creates a foundation for the successful future of the company."
